Distractions
The dominant Board faction of EWUA wants Members to think about anything other than the reasons why they are being recalled.
Rather than allowing access to the records, rather than implementing the recommendations made in the forensic report, rather than correcting the 2023 election errors when they had a chance to do so, the dominant Board faction did take the time and effort to demonize Steve Smith and Tenar Hall. They are now attacking three current directors for daring to challenge the corruption at EWUA.
Note that Tenar Hall discovered the checks that the General Manager had written to himself and checks that were for more than he was authorized to sign. Tenar Hall was and is just as much a part of RecallWater as Steve was and is. Yet, the dominant Board factions of 2023 & 2024 put a lot of effort into minimalizing Tenar while focusing the community’s hate on Steve. That separation was a part of their distraction-from-the-issues strategy to make this all about “one disgruntled Director.”
Please look at the Who We Are page and note that there are six current and former directors who are saying that EWUA is corrupt. This group of six is joined by multiple others who have investigated the dominant Board faction’s actions and who all ask you to recall Nelson, Nigretto, Cleveland, and Templin.
Yet, because some in the community are distracted from the problems at EWUA, this is a response to some of the accusations that the dominant Board faction and their supporters have been and are making.
