On September 11, 2024 Randy Gaylord wrote a letter to the editor about the water controversy. This was posted as a letter to the editor on The Orcasonian.
Following the letter there was a comment added by someone claiming to be Mike Douglas. I called the only Mike Douglas that lives on the island that we are aware of. He did not make the comment that you can find in the below capture.
The comment by not “Mike Douglas” was very likely written by General Manager Dan Burke who used Mike Douglas’ name without authorization. The comment is a long complaint with many inaccuracies. It appears to be written by an angry person who is very frustrated.
